The midweek finished off its season with four nights of playoff matches! The first match was played between the Stonewallers and the Castaways. The Castaways were able to defend the total and secure the route to Wednesdays Tier 2 final! The second match saw the tier 1 semi between the Broncos and the Beagle in a repeat of the 2018 season. With some exciting play from both sides, the fielding let the Beagle down and the Broncos made their way to the Thursday night final against the Pigs! Tier 2 final was played between the Central Saanich CC and the Castaways Cricket Club. It was a beautiful sunny day and the Castaways were able to defend their total against the Central Saanich CC to win their first Scutt Plate! The final match of the week saw the formidablle Pigs' Trotters take on the Broncos CC. The weather looked like it might ruin the nights play, but both teams battled through and the Broncos were able to defend their score on a dark and rainy finish!
