Founded in 1912, the Incogs have always had a close association with the St Michaels University School, whose Richmond Road campus is the home ground for the club and whose alumni, staff, parents, and students have provided most of the players. Over the years, many Incogs have represented BC and Canada, both at junior and senior levels. The Club takes pride in the fact that many of its players have learned the game here in Victoria as students at "The School". The Incogs were particularly successful in the 1980s, winning several League Championships under captain Rob Wilson (Oxford and Canada), and representing BC in the Western Canada Club Championships in 1984, and were League Champions again in 2001 under Nick Grant, and in 2005 under Jim Wenman.
