Founded in 1947 as the Ex-RAF CC by former servicemen, the club changed its name in the early fifties to the "All-Comers", quickly abbreviated to Alcos.
The Alcos have had limited success over the years. From 1975 to 1977 they won the league twice and went all the way to the final of the national club championship against Toronto CC. They did win a 40-over competition in the 1980s, the knock-out competition in 2005, and the Colonist Cup in 2008.
Alcos CC takes pride in playing the game competitively, fairly, and with good spirit.
